INPA/TIPE Receives Recognition by MUTA

The Made Up Textiles Association (MUTA) has awarded Grand Affairs Group/TIPE/INPA a complimentary associate membership of the Association of Inflatable Manufacturers, Operators, Designers and Suppliers (AIMODS) in recognition of its work in raising awareness of BS EN 14960:2006, annual testing and the PIPA scheme.

Peter Grand, owner of Grand Affairs Group, said," this is an unexpected announcement from MUTA and we are proud of the service we provide to the industry. Often we are misunderstood but our aim is, and always will be, to ensure that we provide information that is accurate in order that operators and users can make informed decisions in respect of inflatable play."

In a further move MUTA, which also administers the PIPA scheme,have agreed to a 33.3% discount for TIPE subscribers who are RPII registered testers on PIPA tags and certificates they purchase.

Peter Grand commented, "this offers a saving on the total price of an annual test using the PIPA scheme and we are encouraging all TIPE registered RPII testers to pass this saving on."
